Muscular tension and pain are almost part of everyday life for horses. Through my work as an equine physical therapist, I frequently encounter horses with sternal blockages and pain & tension in the abdominal muscles. There are very many muscular and organic problems that are triggered solely by a blocked and pain-sensitive sternum. These can be solved by specific treatments, but often these problems reappear as soon as the girth is tightened again. We have set ourselves the goal of breaking this “cycle” and improving horse health permanently and sustainably.

Our equigetic pad is made of high quality English leather with a very soft and comfortable memory foam interior. It can be integrated to any standard girth, eliminating the need for further investment in a new girth and associated costs.
Our pad prevents uncomfortable pressure on the horse’s sternum by a channel on the inside, thus avoiding pain and tension in the sternum.

The equigetic Jump saddle girth for show jumpers
The equigetic Jump saddle girth is also made of high quality leather. The girth was developed especially for show jumpers, as additional protection is necessary and essential for these horses. In order to prevent injuries with studs or the horseshoes, the contact surface must be significantly larger for the stud protection harness. The equigetic Jump girth is thicker padded than other jumping girths and ensures the highest impact protection through two plates.
The equigetic Jump is also the only girth in the world with an integrated equigetic pad system. This combines the advantages of the equigetic Jump with those of the equigetic Pad. The kicking off and landing after the jump is facilitated by the equigetic Jump taking pressure off the sternum through the channel system on the inside. The entire musculoskeletal system of the horse can “spring through”.
