With great anticipation, we headed for Denmark at the beginning of August. As a physiotherapist for the horses of the Norwegian team and a para-dressage rider from Brazil, I was allowed to care for horses during a championship for the first time.
Whenever sport manages to bring people from all over the world together to perform at their best, regardless of religion or origin, there is a very special atmosphere.
It was a great pleasure to accompany horses and riders on this journey and I was especially moved by the fact that in all 4 disciplines shown horses competed either with the equigetic Pad or the equigetic Jump and even more than successfully!
In detail, we are pleased and congratulate:
- Rodolpho Riskalla and Don Henrico to two bronze medals in the Para-Dressage Freestyle and in the Individual
- Joseph Stockdale and Cacharel to bronze with the team in show jumping
- The French vaulters to two gold medals in compulsory and freestyle competitions
